Cutoff qualifying percentile

According to previous year qualifying percentile, Aspirant secure with 50 percentile irrespective of their category. Based on AIIMS PG cutoff, the conducting body will calculate the percentile scores. The percentile scores are based on the performance of candidates who appeared in the entrance examination.

The candidates applying for AIIMS PG are advised to check these important Instruction Related to AIIMS PG 2020 Cutoff.

  • The AIIMS PG 2020 Cutoff will be based on various parameters like numbers of appearing candidates, total numbers of seats, the difficulty level of the examination, and last year admission record.
  • The Cutoff marks will be announced to only those candidates who will qualify the AIIMS PG 2020 examination.
  • The candidate who will secure the highest mark will get the top rank, whereas, the candidates with low marks will be allotted the lowest rank.
  • The Selection Board of AIIMS PG will not announce the Minimum Cutoff Marks for a specified Branch or College.
  • Board will announce the opening/first rank and closing/last rank for different Colleges under AIIMS PG.
  • The closing/last rank for a particular college will be based on the total number of seats in a college with the total number of candidates appeared in AIIMS PG 2020 Counselling.
  • Candidates are advised to fill their preferences according to their merit in the entrance examination.

Q.1 Can I fill out the Final Registration if I do not fill Basic Registration?

A. No, it is necessary to fill the Basic Registration in order to fill the Final Registration

Q.2 If, I have completed Step-1 of Basic Registration, then can I generate the unique code for the Final Registration?

A. No, it is necessary to fill Step- 1& 2 of Basic Registration to generate the unique code
for the Final Registration

Q.3 If, I have completed Step 1 of the Basic Registration and have uploaded one image
out of three, then can I generate the unique code for the Final Registration?

A. No, it is necessary to complete both the steps of Basic Registration in order to fill the
Final Registration and it is necessary to upload all images (Color Photograph with
white Background, Thumb Impression (line clearly visible) & Signature (clearly visible)
in step 2, then you will be eligible to generate the unique code for the Final Registration.

Q.4 If, I have uploaded all three images (Photograph, Signature & Left Thumb Impression) in Step 2 of Basic Registration, will the Basic Registration be accepted?

A. No, it is very important and necessary to click on “Submit” after uploading all the three
images in Step 2 of Basic Registration.

Q. 5 I am Foreign National candidate, and I have filled Final Registration, can I eligible
for the exam on the basis of final Registration.

A. No, in addition, you have to get “NO OBJECTION” from the ” Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare, Govt. of India” to appear in the AIIMS PG Entrance Examination.

Q. 6 Can I choose more than one subject under Sponsored Category?

A. The candidate can be sponsored for only one subject. The applications of those
candidates who are sponsored for more than one subject will not be considered.

Q. 7 Why does it take so long to provide the final status of application?

A. Since some fields are editable till the last date of submission of Final Registration form,
the status can only be finalized after this period.
