There is a major news coming out from the sources. From this year onwards, the Amity Law School Delhi will not entertain any IPU CET LAW Score Card holder. Yes, you heard it right, there will be no admissions in ALS Delhi via the GGSIPU Law Common Entrance Test from the academic session 2018-19.
The Amity Law School is considered as one of the Best law colleges in Delhi-NCR and the BA LLB (Hons) offered by the college is the first choice of every aspirant who apper for GGSIPU CET Law examination. The decision regarding the same has been taken by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBSF), the parent organisation of Amity University.
Reason of De-Affiliation
It may surprise you to hear the news but the students of college had been hearing the de-affiliation rumours from past 1and half year. Our correspondent has talked to the students regarding the de-affiliation news and for them “It’s like the worst nightmare has now come true”. According to the sources, the rumours regarding the de-affiliation was in the news from past 1.5 years but now the official confirmation has proved that the college is no more affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

The Consequence of De-Affiliation
Though the authority has not given any strong reason for the de-affiliation, however, students of the college are saying that the de-affiliation is due to the series of events that took place in the college that ultimately led to a change in the faculty and higher authorities.
Now, whether this de-affiliation will bring any changes to its quality of education or placement but one thing is sure that the students are badly affected by the decision. To know the admission criteria and other related information for this academic year, we’ll have to wait to find out.
