• According to candidates’ merit ranks, candidates whose names will be enlisted in the state merit list will be called for the HP NEET counselling process.
• Applicants must register for HP NEET Counselling admission from the official website.
• Then candidates must make their choices/preferences of courses and colleges according to their importance for the seat allotment process.
• Candidates allotted seats in HP NEET Counselling admission must report at the allotted colleges within the specified dates and timings.

The Atal Medical and Research University, HP, will be conducting the counselling on behalf of the
Government of Himachal Pradesh (Department of Medical Education & Research) through Centralized Counselling Committee constituted by the Government of Himachal Pradesh vide Notification No.HFW-B(B)-12-4/2013-I-Loose(Part) dated 15.03.2016 and subsequent Corrigendum of even number dated 19.03.2016 under the Chairmanship of the Director Medical Education & Research, Himachal Pradesh for filling-up of State and Management/NRI Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges including private un-aided Medical/Dental Colleges of the State of Himachal Pradesh based on qualified candidates of NEET-UG conducted by the National Testing Agency.

The rules & regulations as contained in the prospectus have been framed/approved by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, keeping in view the guidelines of the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India for admission to MBBS/BDS courses. The said qualified candidates are required to apply online only by using the website of the University within a stipulated period. This centralized Online counselling shall be conducted for 85% of State Quota Seats, which includes the reserved seats of Children of J& K Migrants, Children of Tibetan Refugees, NRI and Economically Weaker Sections(EWS) in Government Medical/Dental Colleges and the seats in respect of Private Un-aided Medical/ Dental Colleges, therefore said seats (100%) shall also be filled up as per the distribution of seats given in the prospectus through this counselling.
