BHU (Banaras Hindu University) will conduct BLAT 2020 for candidates to get admission in its 5-year LLB (Hons), BA LLB (Hons) program; seat intake is anywhere between 37 and 286. BLAT 2020 entrance exam which was to be conducted on 19th May 2020, has now been postponed till further notice. The BHU UET 2020 will be conducted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) mode only. The CBT would be conducted in 200 cities across the country. BLAT exam which comes under BHU UET will be MCQ-type and include 150 questions of 3 marks each.

Syllabus

The syllabus for BHU Law Entrance includes objective question based on diverse topics. The subjects that the syllabus comprises are English Comprehension, General Awareness and Current Affairs, Aptitude and Mental Ability and Common Legal Knowledge.

  • The exam paper will include two sets of multiple-choice questions based on Language Comprehension in Hindi and English.
  • For candidates who have opted English as the medium of answering will have to attempt English Comprehension questions given in the paper.
  • For candidates who have opted for Hindi as the medium of answering will have to attempt Hindi Comprehension questions provided in the question paper.

Marking Schemes

  1. You have 120 minutes to complete the test.
  2. The test contains a total of 150 Questions.
  3. There is only one correct answer to each question. Click on the most appropriate option to mark it as your answer.
  4. You will be awarded three marks for each correct answer.
  5. There is -1 penalty marks for each wrong answer.
  6. You can change your answer by clicking on some other option.

Yes, for each wrong answer 1 marks will be deducted.

Can I change my preference options after having submitted it online?

Yes, the list of preference can be altered again at the venue of counselling, but once after the candidate signs and submit this altered list, no more changes will be accepted.

Will the exam be pen-paper based or computer-based?

The BHU UET 2020 will be conducted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) mode only. The CBT would be conducted in 200 cities across the country.
