Q. When should I start preparing for CAT 2020?

Ans. If you start CAT 2020 preparation now, you should finish the core syllabus of CAT by July-August. Thereafter start solving previous years CAT question papers, mock test series and sample papers to develop speed and accuracy. The last three months (Sept-November) before CAT should be entirely dedicated to mock tests.

Q. Will cats be conducted in 2020?

Ans. There is no proposal to postpone or cancel CAT 2020, says IIM Indore. Instead, the process of conducting the exam is already on. … No change in CAT 2020 Testing Mode. Professor Harshal Lowalekar, Faculty and Chair Admissions at IIM Indore has been appointed as the Convener of CAT 2020 exam.

Q. Is coaching necessary for CAT?

Ans. Many CAT toppers and experts suggest that taking mentorship and coaching for CAT is beneficial to a great extent. But it is not always mandatory. According to one of the CAT 2020 toppers Anumay Aashish, taking coaching for CAT is not the most essential part through which a candidate can secure good marks.

Q. How can I get 99 percentile in CAT?

Ans. Study hard but more importantly, study smart! Focus equally on all sections – Quantitative Aptitude And Data Interpretation, Verbal Aptitude And Reading Comprehension, and Logical Reasoning are the three sections of the test. No one has managed to score a 99 percentile by ignoring any of these sections during prep.

Q. How difficult is cat?

Ans. The overall difficulty level of CAT 2020 was moderate to tough. Out of the three sections, Verbal Ability Reading Comprehension was the toughest while Quantitative Aptitude and DILR were both equally intimidating. The overall difficulty level of CAT 2020 was moderate to tough.
