The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) announced a set of relaxation for the children of military and paramilitary forces personal fighting ‘terrorism and Left-wing extremism’ and are martyred in the line of duty. The official notification for relaxation is released after the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed last week.
As per the CBSE guidelines, the children of military and paramilitary forces personnel who are appearing for class 10 and 12th board examination this year will be allowed to change the centre of examination in the same city or to the other city.
And further, added candidates who wish to appear for an examination in any subject later would be permitted to do so. “If they have missed their practical examinations, the same would be conducted as per their convenience by 10th April 2019 by their school,” it said.
Also said “Such candidates may send their request to schools and schools will further send their request to the concerned regional office for needful action by CBSE,”
CBSE board examinations for class 12 started on February 15 with vocational subjects. The CBSE 12th board examination for main subjects will start on March 2, 2019.
The 10th board examination has already started for Vocational papers and the CBSE class 10th main examination for main courses will start from March 5, 2019.
