
CEED 2021 known as Common Entrance Exam for Design is a common entrance exam conducted by IIT, Bombay for candidates to get admission to Master of Design (M.Des) and PhD (Design) programs offered at IIT Bombay, Delhi, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Kanpur, and IISc Bangalore as well as IIITDM Jabalpur. CEED 2021 will be conducted on 17th January 2021.
CEED 2021 will be conducted on Sunday, January 17, 2021, from 9:00, am to 12:00 pm. The examination will consist of two parts, Part-A and Part-B. Candidates must attempt questions from both the parts. Part-A will be conducted from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by Part-B from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
CEED 2021 consists of two papers – Part A is a computer-based test. Part B 5 questions of a total of 100 marks in written.

How to Apply for CEED 2021?
Downloading and submitting CEED 2021 Application Form is a straightforward task and can be performed perfectly learning some facts about pre-arrangement all documents required to be uploaded with the application form for CEED 2021.
Step 1- Registration
- Visit the Official Website ceed.iitb.ac.in to register For CEED 2021
- Enter a valid e-mail ID and mobile number.
- Verify the e-mail ID and save the password received on the entered mobile number.
Step 2- Filling Form and Uploading Documents
- Log in using the E-mail ID and Password received on mobile.
- Enter the personal, academic and communication details in CEED 2021 Application form
- Choose and enter 3 CEED 2021 Exam Centers.
- Upload the photograph, signature and required certificates.
- Review and click on ‘Pay fee and Submit’.
Step 3- Fee Payment
- Post clicking on Pay Fee and Submit, you are redirected to Bill desk for the payment process.

Exam Pattern
In CEED 2021 Exam Pattern includes two parts, Part A & Part B and the total duration of the exam is 3 hours. Candidates who clear Part A are eligible to appear for Part B of the exam. The duration of Part A is 1 hour. The duration of Part B is 2 hours. Part B will start only after Part A ends.
- Part-A have to be given on the computer. These will be design aptitude type questions that evaluate visual and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language, observation and design sensitivity of the candidates.
- Part B 5 questions of a total of 100 marks in written. That is aimed at testing design, drawing and writing skills

Exam Center
The conducting body of CEED 2021 decides to conduct the exam in various centres across India in many cities. Candidates can choose 3 exam centres in order of preference at the time of filling in the application form for CEED 2021. A city may have more than one examination centre. Once the application form is submitted, the change in examination centre is not possible. No request in this matter will be entertained.

Result
- The draft key for Part-A will be released on January 21, 2021. Candidates will be able to access and download their responses through the link provided on the official CEED 2021 website. Candidates can report the discrepancies in the draft answer key to CEED office latest by 5:00 PM on January 24, 2021.
- The responses of the candidates for Part-A of CEED 2021 will be available for download ONLY until the declaration of the CEED result. Downloading of Part-A responses will be DISABLED once the CEED results are declared. No further requests shall be entertained in this regard.

- Communication devices like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, etc.
- Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap Watch/Wrist Watch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
- Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle, tea, coffee, cold drinks, etc.
- Any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc.
- Candidates suffering from diabetes are allowed to carry eatables (with prior intimation) like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) and transparent water bottle. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/ candy/sandwich, etc.
Counselling
There is no common counselling for admissions through CEED 2021. Instead, students must apply separately to the institute of their choice from the given participating institutes on the basis of their CEED scores if they meet specific eligibility criteria of each.
