Daulat Ram College (DRC Delhi)

Daulat Ram College (DRC Delhi) is a premium college for women in Delhi Universit. The college was founded by the individualistic educationist, Late Shri Daulat Ram Gupta in 1960. Previously the college has started as ‘PRAMILA COLLEGE‘but was renamed in’ Daulat Ram College’ in the year 1964.

The DRC Delhi is a Star college and considered as one of the oldest and largest women colleges of the city. The college is located on the north campus of the University of Delhi. The intake capacity for undergraduate program is approx. 1200 students in all streams combined together.

(Hons.).Selection shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examinationincluding one language and three best subjects as per the following:An aggregate of 45% or more in English/Hindi and combination of best threeamong the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and BusinessStudies/ Commerce.Inclusion of any subject from List B other than mentioned above in the combinationof best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate.Inclusion of any subject other than those in Lists A and B in the combination of bestthree will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four.
B.A. (Hons.) Sanskrit  An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.Applicants securing 40% marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in the subjectconcerned are also eligible for admission to the relevant Honours Course.The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects. Applicants who have passed the intermediate Examination of an Indian University/Board with at least 40% marks in the aggregate and also one of the following examinations given below on the left shall be eligible for admission to the respective subject of the Honours Course given below:Maulvi Fazil in Arabic Prabhakar in Hindi Munshi Fazil in PersianGyani in Punjabi Shastri in SanskritAbid Fazil in UrduFor admission to Honours in any language course, advantage of 2% in the ‘BestFour’ percentage will be given to those applicants

    I want to get admission in diploma of French. When the form will be available on website? Do they get any entrance for that?

    • Hey Sanjana,
      Pre-registration is a must for getting admission.

      The cut-off percentage for admission to each course will be put up on the college notice board/website on dates as per programme notified by the Delhi University. No individual intimation regarding admission will be sent.

      After the declaration of the Cut-off lists, eligible applicants should present themselves in person for admission.
