Delhi CET Counseling Procedure 2020: Documents, Fees, & More!

Due to COVID-19 condition in India counselling procedure of Delhi CET 2020 will start from 22nd June 2020. The Authority will release the Notification regarding the counselling procedure on the official website. Counselling will be done on the basis of the score of the Entrance exam and interviews. The Delhi CET 2020 counselling procedure will be started after a few days of the result. Only selected candidates will be allowed to download their call letter from the website through online mode.

LATEST UPDATE (22nd July 2020): Online form submission for merit-based admission for various diploma courses is likely to start from the first week of August 2020.

UPDATE: Due to pandemic caused by COVID-19, there will be no Entrance Test for admission in Diploma Courses in Delhi. Admission in the said Courses will be done on Merit Basis. Updates keep on visiting the official website of Delhi Cet.

Counselling Fee Details

  • Candidates have to submit the counselling fee of R.s 700/- to take part in counselling procedure along with bank charges of R.s 20/- and service tax R.s 3/-
  • Candidates can submit the fee through both online and offline mode as per their preferences.

Documents Required for Couselling

  • A hard copy of the Online filled Application Form and fee slip
  • Admit Card
  • Score card
  • Birth Certificate
  • High School Mark Sheets
  • Extra-Curricular Certificates.(if claiming for weightage) 
  • Category Certificates for SC/ST/OBC/PH/FF dependent, issued by the competent authority.
  • Passport Size photograph  

Counselling Process

  • Fee Payment of Counselling Procedure: Shortlisted candidates have to pay non-refundable counselling fee of R.s 700/- (excluding GST) after the examination.
  • Online Registration: After successful payment of fee, candidates have to register for the counselling process. PAN card and Aadhar card details are must for the registration process. Candidates have to provide personal details, CET roll number, application number etc.
  • Choice filling: Candidates have to fill the choices of institution & discipline as per their preferences. Candidates are advised to fill the maximum number of choices so they have a higher chance of securing a seat.
  • Allotment of Seats: Seats will be allotted on the basis of the merit rank prepared by the authority, choices entered by the candidates and availability of seats.
  • Payment of Institutional Fee: Candidates with allotted seats have to pay the institutional fee through online mode.
  • Document Verification: After successful completion of the online counselling process, candidates have to report allotted institute for document verification and also confirm their seat.
  • Freezing of Allotted seat: If candidates are satisfied with their allotted seats and do not want to participate in the further counselling process, they can freeze their allotted seats.
