DNB CET 2020 Counselling Process

The counselling process of DNB CET 2020 includes various rounds. The counselling will be organized in three rounds first, second and final round.

To participate in the counselling procedure, candidates have to register themselves first through the website. Also, students are required to register themselves for counselling of DNB CET 2020 in online mode by paying an amount of INR 2500 and students can select institutions, hospitals and medical colleges as per their wish and priority.

Round I:

  • Candidates after registering from the website for 1st round counselling have to fill their choices and lock them.
  • A mock seat allotment process will be organized to give an idea of seat allotment to the candidates. Based on this, candidates decide the options be filled for first-round counselling.
  • The seats left after the first round allotment will be offered to the candidates in the second round.

Round II:

  • After the first round of counselling, the vacant seats left will be allotted in this round.
  • Reordering, filling of choices and editing will be done through the website.
  • Candidates are required to submit their necessary documents at the allotted institutions within the prescribed time.

Final Round:

This round of counselling will be held through offline mode at the specified venue.
This will be the last chance of seat allotment of the candidates.
Students must not forget to submit their mandatory documents at the allotted institute.

DNB CET 2020 Cut off

DNB CET 2020 cut off is the minimum score to qualify the examination NEET PG, which must be secured by students to qualify the entrance examination. There are various factors on which cut-off marks depend such as the number of applicants, availability of seats and difficulty level of the entrance examination. The exam conducting authority releases DNB CET 2020 cut off at the time of result declaration.

Documents to be Carried during Counselling

While attending the DNB CET 2020 counselling process, candidates are required to submit various original as well as the attested copies of their documents. The documents to be carried on the day of counselling are given below:

  • DNB CET 2020 Result
  • DNB CET 2020 Rank letter
  • 10th and 12th level certificates
  • MBBS degree certificate/provisional pass certificate
  • Permanent registration certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council
  • Internship completion certificate
  • Caste certificate (issued by competent authority), if applicable
  • Special category certificate (issued by the designated authority)
  • Valid ID proof – PAN card, Indian passport, Voter ID card, Driving license, or Aadhaar card with photograph
  • Any bonafide resident certificate (optional)

DNB CET 2020 Counselling will be completely organized on the basis of merit rank obtained by the candidates in the exam. Candidates must bring their necessary documents with them otherwise they will not be allowed to participate in the counselling process.

Answer: No, the candidates who have joined DNB Broad Specialty course in or after January 2018 admission session are not eligible for admission to January 2020 session. This is irrespective of their resignation or discontinuation from the course due to any reason.

Question: What seats can a reserved category candidate opt for? 

Answer: Candidates of reserved category can opt for either reserved seats earmarked for them or unreserved seats in order of their merit.
