Admission Procedure

Earlier, Admission to GGSIPU CET courses was made through the IPU CET Entrance Examination. Still, According to the official notification, the IPU will no longer conduct CET for B.Tech, MCA, LLM, BA/BBA LLB, and MBA from 2021. Admission to These CET Courses will be made through different entrance examinations. The admission process and the exam conducted authority are mentioned below:

  • B.Tech: Admission to GGSIPU B.Tech Courses will be made through JEE Main (Paper 1) Examination.
  • B.Arch: Admission to GGSIPU B.Arch Courses will be made through NATA Examination.
  • BCA: Admission to GGSIPU BCA Courses will be made through IPU CET BCA Examination.
  • MBA: Admission to GGSIPU MBA Courses will be made through CAT Examination.
  • BHMCT: Admission to GGSIPU BHMCT Courses will be made through BHMCT Examination.

Eligibility Criteria

B.TechPass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Applicant must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
BCAPass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with a pass in English (core or elective or functional). Mathematics or (Computer Science/Informatics Practice/Computer Applications/Multimedia & Web Technology/Data Management Application/ Web Application as a compulsory subject of the Non-Vocational stream with 70 theory and 30 practical ratios).
OR Three-year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
MBAAny recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
B.ArchPass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and must have a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics as subject
OR 10+3 years diploma in Architecture recognized by the Central, State Governments All candidates possessing any of the above qualifications must also have passed the National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. Admissions will be made based on NATA Score, and the percentage of Aggregate marks (i.e.) percentage will be calculated considering all the subjects) obtained in the qualifying examination, i.e., Senior Secondary level or equivalent
BHMCTPass in the 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45% to 55%. Having English as a subject is mandatory.

How to Fill Application Form

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University only allows an online application form submission mode.

  • First of all, visit the official website of GGSIPU.
  • Fill in all the details in the application form and upload the scanned copies of the required documents as mentioned in the information brochure.
  • Submit the application form, and the registration ID and password will generate.
  • Pay the application fee of Rs. 1200 before the last date.
  • After submitting the application form and application fee, the admit card will be issued.
