Eligibility Criteria

There are some categories which are common for both UG and PG courses offered by Delhi University.

  • Nationality: Indian and foreign applicant are eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Age Criteria: There is no minimum age limit to apply for UG or PG courses. Except for the courses where age is prescribed by the MCI, BCI, DCI, NCTE and AICTE.

For UG Courses:

For B.Com Course:

  • Percentage: Candidates will have to score minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have English/ Hindi with combination of any three among Mathematics, Accountancy, and Business Studies/ Commerce.

For B.Sc. Hons (Computer Science):

  • Percentage: Candidates will have to score minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have English and Mathematics as mandatory subject in the qualifying exam.

For PG Courses:

For LLM Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify 3 or 5 year LLB degree.
  • Percentage: Candidates will have to qualify with minimum 50% marks for general, 45% for OBC & 40% for SC/ ST.

For MCA Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify 3 year Bachelor’s degree from university.
  • Percentage: Candidates will have to qualify with minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Mandatory Subject: Candidates will have to qualify with any one paper in Mathematical Science.

How To Apply?

To apply for DUET 2020 candidates are required to follow the following steps to fill up the application form:

  • DU Application form filling process will be starting from 2nd April 2020 for UG courses as well as PG courses.
  • Applicants can fill their application form through online mode only.
  • Fill personal details like, education, address etc. in the application form.
  • Upload your scanned passport size photograph and signature in the given format.
  • Candidates can fill their application form till 30th April 2020 for UG courses and PG courses.
  • Take a printout of the application form.
  • Keep the printout safe for other admission procedures.

Admit Card

DUET admit card 2020 is going to release on 30 April 2020. Registered applicants can download there admit card online from the official website by entering form number and date of birth. The DUET admit card can be downloaded only from its official website. Candidates need to carry DUET admit card along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. The admit card is an important document and candidates should preserve the same till completion of the admission process.

Exam day guidelines

To help the candidates appearing for the examination have a hassle-free day and keep them stress-free and calm on Exam Day, we have made some Exam day guidelines for DUET 2020.

What to carry on the exam day? ()

  • DUET 2020 admit card
  • Two passport size photographs (preferably same as the one submitted with the application form)
  • A valid photo Id proof (Passport/ Aadhaar card, Driving Licence, PAN Card)
  • PWD Certificate (if applicable)

What not to carry? (×)

  • A stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Pen, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.
  • Communication devices like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, etc.
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap Watch/Wrist Watch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle, tea, coffee, cold drinks, etc.
  • Any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc.
  • Candidates suffering from diabetes are allowed to carry eatables (with prior intimation) like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) and transparent water bottle. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/ candy/sandwich, etc.

Result

According to official instructions, the result of DUET 2020 for DU UG admission will be released. The result will release via online mode through the website. Students can Cheak their results by entering their roll number and other required details. The scores secured by the candidates in the DUET 2020 exam will be available in the result. The result of DUET 2020 has to be downloaded by the candidates since it will be required during the DU UG admission process.
