Eligibility Criteria

Some categories are common for both UG and PG courses offered by Delhi University.

  • Nationality: Indian and foreign applicant is eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Age Criteria: There is no minimum age limit to apply for UG or PG courses. Except for the courses where age is prescribed by the MCI, BCI, DCI, NCTE and AICTE.

For UG Courses:

For B.Com Course:

  • Percentage: Candidates will have to score a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have English/ Hindi with the combination of any three among Mathematics, Accountancy, and Business Studies/ Commerce.

For B.Sc. Hons (Computer Science):

  • Percentage: Candidates will have to score a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have English and Mathematics as a mandatory subject in the qualifying exam.

For PG Courses:

For LLM Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify 3 or 5 year LLB degree.
  • Percentage: Candidates will have to qualify with a minimum of 50% marks for general, 45% for OBC & 40% for SC/ ST.

For MCA Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify for 3 years Bachelor’s degree from the university.
  • Percentage: Candidates will have to qualify with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Mandatory Subject: Candidates will have to qualify with anyone paper in Mathematical Science.

How To Apply?

To apply for DUET 2021, candidates are required to follow the following steps to fill up the application form:

  • DU Application form filling process will be starting soon for UG courses as well as PG courses.
  • Applicants can fill their application form online mode only.
  • Fill in personal details like education, address etc., in the application form.
  • Upload your scanned passport size photograph and signature in the given format.
  • Candidates can fill their application form for UG courses and PG courses.
  • Take a printout of the application form.
  • Keep the printout safe for other admission procedures.

Exam day guidelines

To help the candidates appearing for the examination hassle-free day and keep them stress-free and calm on Exam Day, we have made some Exam day guidelines for DUET 2021.

What to carry on the exam day? ()

  • DUET 2021 admit card
  • Two passport size photographs (preferably same as the one submitted with the application form)
  • A valid photo Id proof (Passport/ Aadhaar card, Driving Licence, PAN Card)
  • PWD Certificate (if applicable)

What not to carry? (×)

  • A stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Pen, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.
  • Communication devices like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, etc.
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap Watch/Wrist Watch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle, tea, coffee, cold drinks, etc.
  • Any other item could be used for unfair means by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc.
  • Candidates with diabetes can carry eatables (with prior intimation) like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) and transparent water bottles. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/ candy/sandwich.

Result

According to official instructions, the result of DUET 2021 for DU UG admission will be released. The result will release via online mode through the website. Students can Cheak their results by entering their roll number and other required details. The scores secured by the candidates in the DUET 2021 exam will be available in the result. The result of DUET 2021 has to be downloaded by the candidates since it will be required during the DU UG admission process.

Counselling

Candidates who secure the minimum required marks and qualify DUET 2021 will be required to attend the counselling process. The complete schedule of DUET counselling sessions will be released once DUET 2021 Results will be declared.

DUET 2021 Counselling Process

  • The candidates can check the allotment list on either the admission portal or on the applicant’s login.
  • Candidates should log in on the admission portal by entering their registered email ID and password.
  • The allotted course and college will be displayed on the screen.
  • Suppose the candidate is satisfied with the allotted course and college and wishes to go ahead with them only. They need to click the ‘apply for admission’ button.
