What is Electrical Engineering?

Before we begin, let us understand what electrical engineering means and what electrical engineers learn.

EE is a branch of engineering that deals with the study of the application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. Experts professionals in this field design electric circuits and equipment. Their work area can range from gigantic power plants to small hardware companies. Furthermore, their job roles involve designing, manufacturing and operating power plants, industrial machinery, electrical motors, computer chips, ignition systems for automobiles, aircraft, space crafts and many more.

This branch is spread across various specialities such as acoustics, speech, signal processing to electromagnetic compatibility, automobiles to vehicular technology, geoscience, remote sensing, laser and electro-optics, robotics, ultra-sonic, ferroelectrics and frequency control.
