GATE 2021: The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, has released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021. As per the schedule, the exam will be held on February 6, 7, 13 and 14, 2021.
The online application form filling process will begin from 11 September 2020, and it will be closed on October 07, 2020. However, The applying seekers will also be given a window to make changes to their application form—the last date for requesting a change of examination Centre or city.
This year GATE 2021 Examination will be conducted in 200 cities in India and six cities abroad. All the aspirants who want to apply for GATE 2021 examination have to wait for the GATE online portal’s opening, popularly known as GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System).

How to Apply
- First, you have to log in to the official website (gate.iitd.ac.in).
- Click on ‘Login’ and enter this information: email Id, password, country of residence and mobile number.
- Enter the captcha and click on ‘Submit’ button.
- Click on ‘GATE Application Form 2021’ button.
- After that, fill the details asked in the application form: NAME, Qualification, DOB, Enrollment No. etc.
- After submitting the personal information, educational proceed for uploading required scanned images.
- Upload the scanned copy of all the required certificate, category certificate (if applicable), Photograph (2 KB & 150 KB), Signature (2 KB & 200 KB).
- Click on ‘Save and View Application’ or ‘Submit and Proceed to Payment’ link.
- Fill the payment details and click on ‘Make Payment’ option.
- A fee payment number will be generated after successful payment of a fee.
- Your form will be successfully submitted
- Take a printout copy of application form for future reference

GATE 2021 Admit Card
The GATE 2021 Admit card will be released on 8th January 2021. The link of GATE 2021 Admit card will be notified on the official website of GOAPS. The link will be shared with the Aspirants through his/her registered email ID and mobile number.
Important Instructions
- The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
- Candidates Must carry the required materials with them(Pen, Pencil, Scale etc.)
- The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the examination.

GATE 2021 Examination results will be released on the 22nd March 2021.IIT Madras will publish the Results on the GOAPS Website: gate.iitm.ac.in. The GATE 2021 score is valid for Three Years from the date of announcement of the results.

A. YES, any undergraduate student currently in 3rd year or higher years of any government-approved program in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/ Arts/ Commerce/Science, is eligible to appear for GATE 2021.
A. NO. There is NO age limit to appear for GATE 2021.
A. NO. One can appear for the GATE examination any number of times.
A. Admit Card can ONLY be downloaded from the GOAPS website from 8th January 2021. Admit Cards will NOT be sent by post or as an e-mail attachment.
A. A candidate can apply for ONE or TWO subject papers(from the given set of combinations as per Table 4.2a) of the 27 papers listed in the GATE INFORMATION BROCHURE or GATE website. The choice of the appropriate paper is the responsibility of the candidate.
A. YES. ONLY after the last date for application submission, a request for the change of GATE Examination Paper will be entertained against additional payment till 13th November, 2020. Any request after this date will NOT be considered.
A. YES. Once you reach the examination hall, please contact the GATE Institute Representative through the invigilator in your examination hall and he/she will do the needful.
