But now the examination conducted authority has realised the notification, in this year admission in Haryana Polytechnic institute will be based on merit. Haryana Polytechnic 2020 Counselling Procedure
This procedure is applicable for the candidates who want to take admissions through online
counseling. There are two Online Counselings will be conducted for admission to all Diploma Courses for all the seats of Govt. / Govt. Aided and 75% seats of Self Financing Institutes only as follows:
1st Counseling:- shall be done for all categories namely AIC, HOGC, KM, HGST, TFW, EWSs,
SC, BC-A, BC-B, PH, ESM (with all priorities) and FF of all categories with 25% Horizontal Female
reservation.
2nd Counseling- shall be done for all categories namely AIC, HOGC, KM, HGST, TFW, EWSs,
SC, BC (by merging BCA and BCB in BC), PH, ESM (by merging all priorities) and FF with 25%
Horizontal Female reservation.
NOTE: It was decided that no Institute Level Manual Counseling will be allowed for the session
2020-21 due to pandemic COVID-19 situation.
Step 1: Counselling Fee Payment – Participate in the counselling process, and the candidate will have to first pay the counselling fee through another debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
Step 2: For registration, candidates have to click on “New Registration”. Submission of preferred course, roll number, the application number, name and date of birth has to be done.
Step 3: After this, candidates will have to visit the official website and login with the User ID and password. After successful login, candidates will have to confirm their registration details. You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal.
Step 4: Seat Allotment and Reporting at the allotted Institute- The authorities will release the result seat allotment after each round of counselling. The seat will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of filled choices, availability of seats, rank, etc.
