JEE Main Marks and Rank 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main exam date for B.Tech, B.arch, B.planning course and exam will be held on 7th, 8th and 9th January 2020 (For January Session) and For April session from 18 July 2020 to 23 July 2020.. Like every time, this time also the NTA will conduct the exam on different dates and in multiple timing.

So that the exam paper difficulty level may vary in different dates and slots. Due to this, some students may have more difficult papers or easier papers. Due to which the score of students can also go low and high.

How to know JEE Main Expected Score
If you are an applicant of JEE Main Entrance Exam and have read the notification of JEE Main issued by your NTA, then you will know that 4 marks are included for each correct question and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Below we have mentioned the formula how to calculate JEE Main marks.
total no of question – 75 (B.tech)
Each question containing marks – 4 Marks/question
Then total marks of the exam paper- 75*4=300 marks

Formula- Calculate the marks formula
Total score obtaining= (total no. of right answer* 4) -( Total no. of wrong Answer*1)
How to calculate JEE Main Ranks
Rank defines how you have performed in front of your participants and it also tells which people you have come above or below rank. Below we have defined the step by step procedure of rank calculation.

Before we calculating the JEE Main rank, we need following figures.
- Your JEE Main Score/marks
- no. of total applicants who have appeared for the JEE Main examination
- Percentage of applicants below or equal to applicants marks
- Percentage of applicants above your marks
- total No. of students above your marks
Let we assum: Your jee main marks= L
Total no. of applicants who have appeared in the exam= K
Applicants below or equal to applicants marks = L
Students above your marks = (100- L)
total no. of students above your marks = ((100 – L)/100)*K
Then your jee main rank = ((100 – L)/100)*K + 1
