The aspirant should pass in 12th/ Senior Secondary or its equivalent from any recognized board/university. The Aspirant qualifies the qualifying exam with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.

Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2020 on a provisional basis. NCHMCT JEE 2020 Counselling

There shall be 3 rounds of Counselling on the basis of merit of individuals participated in NCHMCT JEE 2020 Examination. Counselling will be on 20 September 2020. The detailed process of counselling shall be available on the website www.nchmcounselling.nic.in along with the declaration of result of Written Test. Before we speak further let us have a look at some of the important terminology of the NCHM 2020 Counselling procedure. 

Online registration:-

The first step to NCHM Counselling 2020 is to register yourself by visiting the official website A candidate needs to visit the official website for new registration. Aspirants are advised to fill the registration form very carefully. The registration process for NCHMCT Counselling 2020 can be done until the 2nd week of June. The process for online registration is given below.

  • Click on the “Registration” tab
  • Select Course from the drop-down list
  • Enter Name, Date of birth, NCHM 2020 Roll Number etc and visual code as shown on your computer screen.
  • Click on submit button
  • After successful registration, a login ID and password will be issued to the fresh candidate which must be kept safe for future use.

Choice filling & locking:-

As large numbers of institutes are listed under NCHMCT Counselling 2020, It is highly recommended to fill up your preferences starting with the most preferred Institute. You can choose as many institutes as you want. But it is very important to lock your choices at the time of registration. In case you don’t lock your preferences, the system will automatically lock your last mentioned preferences. So, it will decrease your chances of securing the seat in the most preferred institutes opted by you. Hence, it is very important to lock your preferences within the time window allocated for the choice filling. You may find these terms helpful while filling up the choices for the NCHMCT 2020 counselling process. 

FreezeA candidate, who is satisfied with the presently allotted seat to him and does not want to be considered for upgradations of the seat in any subsequent rounds of counselling is required to opt for the FREEZE option.
FloatA candidate, who wants to confirm the seat presently allotted to him and also at the same time wants to be considered for upgradations of the seat in next Round of counselling on the basis of his/her already filled choices, is required to opt for the FLOAT option
WithdrawA candidate, who is not satisfied with the presently allotted seat to him/her and does not want to be considered for allotment in any subsequent rounds of counselling, should opt for the WITHDRAW option.

Online seat allotment:-

The seat allotment for various courses will be made on one’s merit in NCHMCT JEE 2020 written examination score card and choices filled by the candidates. To check the allotted seats after Choice filling, follow the mentioned instructions.

  • First  Log in to the official site with the ID and Password given during the registration.
  • Take a print of the Provisional Allotment Letter (if seats have been allotted).

On the other hand, IHM Pusa was the 1st IHM so it has goodwill in terms of that, along with an outdated building, but college is working on it side by side.

IHM Mumbai is new comparing to Pusa, which gives better infrastructure.

It depends upon the lifestyle of the city you choose if you like to stay in Delhi or Mumbai.
Campus placements- most important one- A student doesn’t get Job just with the name of college! It depends upon the kid as well. I have seen many students from both Institutes getting no job.

Q. How are the hostels at IHM Pusa?

A. The girls and the boy’s hostel stand facing each other with a Park ( Piya Milan Park ) in between.

Girls hostel has a lock-in time ( 9 pm ) while boys can roam around freely.
We have a basketball court- a badminton court- green space – a canteen – a mess – which is common.

The hostels have a Lounge area- a gym – water coolers- a terrace ( which is locked)
No ACs- No Coolers- but its normally not that hot.

Q. What are the initial packages offered in Ihm Pusa for a B.Sc student.

A. The companies coming to the college are divided into three tiers.
> A select group of top hotel chains like the Taj, Oberois, ITC, Hyatt, Hilton, IHG.
> Other hotel chains like a Lemon tree, Accor, Novotel
> Retail brands like Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, Cafe Coffee Day
None is better than the other. Though tier 1 has somewhat of a mass appeal.

The pay scale varies from 17k to 50k. Keep in mind, the best of companies at times pay low but cover up in terms of their excellent training programmes and subsequent promotions. The beginning salary for most companies is 19–25k.

      General and OBC:- upper age limit is 22 years as or on 1st July 2018. Aspirant born on or after July 01, 1997 are eligible for the exam
       Scheduled Caste and others: upper age limit is 25 years as on or 1st July 2018. That is SC/ST Aspirant born on or after July 01, 1994 are eligible for the exam.

      Yes, For B.Sc. in Hotel and Hospital Administration courses from IHM Pusa, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks.
      English must be a compulsory subject. Admission is based on NCHMCT-JEE score card.

    • 1. Admission Seeker should have cleared the secondary and senior secondary level of the exam with English as a compulsory subject. Clearing the English subject is mandatory.

    • There are two types of courses in IHM Pusa, New Delhi
      1. B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration – Generic
      2. B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration – Specialization.

      The fee is around One Lakh Per Year.
