A.40,600 students

The IPU CET 2018 for B. Tech was held on 13th May 2018. About **40,600 students** appeared for this exam out of which about **34,000 students** qualified from the general category. A total of about **39,000 students** qualified including all categories(OBC, SC, ST).

**Q.What happens in sliding round of IPU?**

**A. Sliding round** will take place after **round** 3 and before spot **round**. Now if you have participated in three **rounds** of counseling than before spot **round** you will be shifted upwards to your choices. So now don’t expect much from SPOT **ROUND**.

**Q.Is IPU a govt university?**

A. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU or IP or IPU) is a public state university and not a Private University. Binary Arithmetic: Addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, 1’s and 2’s complement arithmetic, floating point representation of numbers, normalized floating point representation, Boolean algebra, truth tables, Venn diagrams

Computer Architecture: Block structure of computers, communication between the processor and I / O devices, interrupts

Computer Language: Assembly language and high-level language, Multiprogramming and time-sharing operating systems, Computer Programming in C.

Operating Systems: Evolution of operating systems, types of operating systems, functions of an operating system, modern operating systems
