JEE Advanced 2021
JEE Advanced: Examination held on 03 July 2020 and result will be announced soon. After the JEE Advanced result announcement, qualified candidates have to apply for the counselling procedure. The JEE Advanced Counselling 2021 will be organized through online M Bachelor’s, Integrated Master and Dual Degree programs. Before we talk about the JEE Advanced counselling and Selection Procedure, look at the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria.
How to Apply for JEE Advanced 2021?
A Candidate should register for appearing in JEE Advanced. Here it is to keep in mind that the registration process is made only through the official portal (ONLINE) where detailed instructions will be provided. Let us have a close look at the Registration procedure for JEE Advanced.
Registration Procedure for JEE Advanced 2021
The candidate needs to follow these three basic steps to apply for JEE Advanced.
Step‐1: |
At first, a candidate needs to visit jeeadv.ac.in/ and log in. |
After login, one has to provide the basic data, including the choice of the language of question paper and the cities’ choices for the examination. |
The candidate will have the option of adding another cell phone number on top of the number/s provided during JEE (Main) registration. Please note that the JEE Advanced 2021 result will be sent to one of these numbers by SMS. |
Step‐2: |
After successfully registering cities and mobile number choices, a candidate has to upload the scanned copies of all requisite documents. |
Step‐3: |
After uploading all the required documents, the third and final stage is to pay the required registration fee. You can pay the fee by any mode using Netbanking/Debit card/Credit card etc. Here students must keep in mind that the Registration fee is NEITHER refundable NOR transferable. |

After successfully uploading the required documents, a candidate needs to pay the requisite registration charge prescribed by the JEE Board. Below we have mentioned the JEE Advanced 2021 registration fee.

Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants should check the eligibility criteria before applying for the JEE Advanced exam. The eligibility criteria for appearing JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2021 exam is given below.
Qualification-
- The Admission Seeker should have qualified the 10+2 or equivalent exam with an aggregate of at least 75% marks. For SC/ ST and PWD candidates, there is a relaxation of 10% as they need the aggregate of minimum 65% marks.
- Subjects must be Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, as a compulsory subject from any recognised Board for Secondary Education.
Nationality
All candidates of Indian Nationals/PIO/OCI/Foreign national candidates can apply for JEE Advanced Entrance Exam.
Age Limit
- In recent Supreme court gives the ordered for removing age limit in JEE Advanced papers so no age limit for candidates.
Number of Attempts
According to official instructions, Each Aspirant will attempt JEE Main for 3 consecutive years while for JEE Advanced, he can appear for only 2 consecutive times.

Exam Pattern
The examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of 3 Hours duration each. Both the papers are compulsory. The examination will be held as per the following schedule.

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) For B. ARCH. Program
Candidate applying for the B. Arch program must keep in mind that the course is available at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee only. Those who want to opt B.arch will have to PASS in the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) conducted by JEE Board. Only those candidates who have qualified in JEE Advanced are eligible to appear in AAT 2021.
Things to keep in Mind
Candidates must register online at the JEE Advanced online portal for AAT. The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2021 will be conducted only at the seven zonal coordinating IITs.

JEE Advanced Cutoff 2021 (Expected)
Aspirants will check the cutoff list of JEE Advanced Cutoff 2021 after the examination is conducted. The cutoff will be released in online mode. There will be two cutoff list released by the jee advanced exam authority – qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The JEE Advanced cutoff 2021 for admissions into the various participating IITs will be different from the category, course and college selected by the aspirants.

Counselling Procedure
After the JEE Advanced result announcement, qualified candidates have to apply for the counselling procedure. The JEE Advanced Counselling 2021 Counselling will be organized through online mode. For the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master and Dual Degree programs. Based on the student’s preference, the seat will be allocated. After the seat is allocated, the applicant needs to deposit the fee.

Seat Matrix
After a few days of counselling, the JEE Advanced result of allotted courses and college will be sent by Mail or SMS to the candidate. The allotment will be done based on the candidate’s rank, category, and preference filled during counselling. The seat allotment process will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA). Candidates are advised to report to their allotted college and confirm their seat by submitting the course fee within the given time, failing which their seat will be made vacant and allotted to the next candidate.
