JEE Mains Exam Pattern 2023: NTA has released the new JEE Main 2023 exam pattern for B.Tech, B. Arch and B. Planning papers. JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern is divided into JEE Paper 1 pattern for B.Tech and JEE Paper 2 pattern for B. Arch and B. Planning. Aspirants who are going to apply for JEE Mains 2023. This article will discuss the JEE Main Exam Pattern 2023 and JEE Mains 2023 Marking Scheme to better prepare for the exam.

As per the exam pattern of JEE Main 2023, both papers will be held in online computer-based mode except for the Drawing test for B.Arch. For paper 1, each subject consists of 20 MCQs and 10 Numerical Value Questions, and out of 10, only 5 questions are mandatory as per the JEE Main 2023 exam pattern.

Exam Pattern

The engineering entrance exam will be conducted in two sessions– June and July. Aspirants appearing for JEE Mains can take the exam either in online mode or offline mode for B.E/B. Tech, but for Paper 2, they can only appear in pen-paper-based test mode.

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2023 [New Update]

  • As per the newest JEE Main 2023 exam pattern, paper one will have 90 questions, 25 per from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Applicants have to attempt only 75 questions.
  • Every subject will have 20 MCQs and ten numerical questions. 5 out of 10 numerical questions are optional, and the numerical questions don’t have negative markings.
  • JEE Main 2023 for paper 1 (B.Tech) will be conducted for 300 marks, while paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) will be shown clearly for 400 characters each, and now, JEE Main 2023 will be held in 13 languages.
