JEE Main Marks vs Percentile 2021 – How NTA Scores are Calculated

Tie Breaker Guidelines

Tiebreaker guidelines come into force when two or more applicants earn equal percentile scores. The inter-se-merit- is determined in the order given as follows:

  • Applicants getting a higher Percentile Score in Mathematics will be ranked higher.
  • Applicants obtaining a higher Percentile Score in Physics will be given the higher rank.
  • Applicants receiving a higher Percentile Score in Chemistry will get a higher rank.
  • Applicants older in age will be given preference.

The result of JEE Main 2021 is issued individually for every one of the sessions. The best of the NTA scores is taken for applicants who attempt all the sessions, and the merit list will be prepared on the final scores and ranks published based on the same. Also, candidates may check the marks needed for the 90 percentile in JEE Main and get a preparation plan.
