JEE (Main) NTA Score for B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning
- Evaluation of multiple-choice questions of B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning will be carried out using final answer keys and the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result of JEE (Main) February -2021.
- For multi-shift papers, raw marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to NTA Score.
- The detailed procedure based on NTA Score being adopted is available on the NTA website.
Compilation and display of Results of B.E./B.Tech (Session 1)
Since JEE (Main) February-2021 (Session 1), B.E./B.Tech first Session will be conducted in multi-shifts, NTA scores will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks. The calculated NTA scores for all the shifts of session 1 will be declared by March 2021. This shall comprise the NTA scores for each of the three subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) and the total in B.E./B.Tech of JEE (Main) February – 2021 (Session 1).
Compilation and display of Results of B.Arch and B.Planning
Planning of JEE (Main) February – 2021 (Session 1). Since JEE (Main) February -2021, B. Arch and B. Planning first Session will be conducted in multi-shifts, NTA scores will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks. The calculated NTA scores for all the shifts will be declared by March 2021. This shall comprise of the NTA scores for each of the three parts (Mathematics, Aptitude Test, Drawing Test or Planning Based Test) and total in B.Arch/B.
NOTE:
1- The All India Rank shall be compiled and declared after the JEE (Main) May 2021 Examination.
2- No Score/Rank Card will be dispatched to the candidates, and the candidates are advised to download their Score/Rank Cards from the JEE (Main) website: www.nta.ac.in /jeemain.nta.nic. In only.
3- There shall be no provision for re-valuation/re-checking of the Score. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
4- Only the All India Rank (AIR) is used for admissions through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) to NITs/ IIITs/ CFTIs/ SFIs/ Others.
5- All participating Institutions that do not use the Centralized Seat Allocation Process will prepare their own ranking based on JEE (Main) 2021 and other criteria as decided by them.
6- The National Testing Agency (NTA) is an examination conducting body and not an admission giving authority. Therefore, NTA does not collect the information regarding the total number of seats available in the institutions or the eligibility and reservation criteria followed by the institutions.
Re-Evaluation/Re-Checking of result
There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of results. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
How to Check JEE Main Result 2021?
NTA will publish the JEE Main result 2021 in online mode only. Candidates need their application number and date of birth/password to check the result of JEE Main, and one thing that keeps in your mind is that there is no option to check JEE Main 2021 result by roll number.
- Step-1: Visit the JEE Main 2021 official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in)
- Step-2: Click on ‘View JEE Main result’ or ‘View scorecard.’
- Step-3: Then enter JEE Main application number and date of birth No, click on “Submit.”
- Step-4: The entire JEE Main 2021 result, along with scores, will appear on the screen and download the JEE Mains result page and save it for future reference.

Formula to calculate JEE Main 2021 scores

JEE Main Result 2021: Tie-Breaking Procedure
In case two or more applicants secure equal percentile scores in JEE Main 2021 result, then the ranking will be determined in the following way:
JEE Main Result: Tiebreaker for Paper 1 (BTech):
- Mathematics (NTA Score): Who secures more percentile score in Mathematics will be ranked higher
- Physics (NTA Score): Who ensures more percentile scores in Physics will be ranked higher
- Chemistry (NTA Score): Who secures more percentile score in Chemistry will be ranked higher
- Date of Birth: The older applicant will be ranked higher
Note: In case the tie still stands incomplete, the same rank is given to the applicants
JEE Main 2021 Result: Tiebreaker for Paper 2 (BArch):
- Mathematics (NTA Score): Who obtains higher marks in Mathematics will be given a higher rank
- Aptitude Test (NTA Score): Next, if the tie persists, then aspirant with a higher score in the aptitude test will be allotted a more elevated rank
- Drawing Test (NTA Score): If the tie persists, then aspirants with higher scores in the drawing test will be allotted a more elevated rank
- Lesser negative response: Applicants having a lesser number of adverse reactions in the paper.
- Date of Birth: The older candidate will be ranked higher
JEE Mains Result 2021: Tiebreaker for Paper 3 (BPlanning):
- Mathematics (NTA Score): Candidates who obtain higher marks in Mathematics will be given a higher rank
- Aptitude Test (NTA Score): If the tie persists, then aspirants with higher scores in the aptitude test will be given a higher rank
- Planning Based Questions (NTA Score): If the above criteria do not break the tie, then the applicant will higher marks in planning based questions will be given the higher rank
- Lesser negative response: Applicants having a lesser number of adverse reactions in the paper.
- Date of Birth: The older candidate will be ranked higher.
