KEAM 2020 Counselling: Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala will be conducting the online counselling of KEAM 2020 tentatively from the fourth week of August 2020(Expected). Candidates who have qualified KEAM will be required to register for the counselling process either through online mode or through Facilitation Centre. For KEAM Counselling 2020, the candidates will have to select their choices of colleges and courses in the order of preference. A mock allotment will be conducted during KEAM counselling 2020 for the candidate’s reference. During the counselling of KEAM 2020, four rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. KEAM Entrance examination is conducted to offer the admission in medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, engineering, architecture and pharmacy courses. Candidates who want to get admission in B. Pharma will have to qualify only KEAM 2020 Paper I and will be given admissions based on their scores of KEAM Paper I. The qualified candidates of KEAM 2020 will be called to participate in the counselling procedure.

Counselling Procedure

KEAM counselling 2020 process will start in the month of June 2020 (Tentatively). Candidates will have to register themselves online for the counselling process. During the registration process, the Candidates will also have to select their preferred college and course. Below we have mentioned the Step by Step Counselling Procedure of KEAM 2020:

Step-1: Registration: The First step is Registration, candidates will have to register themselves. Go through the official portal. Login through the candidate’s roll number and application number and password. Fill all the necessary details.
Step-2: Option Filling: After successfully complete the registration, a list of colleges and courses will be displayed on your screen. Fill your choices of colleges & courses for allotment. After filling the choices, don’t forget to save them. Candidates can fill their maximum choices as possible.
Step-3: Trial Allotment: Firstly, a trial allotment of seats will be published by the authority. Through trial allotment, candidates will be able to know about the allotment process and which colleges they get allotted.
Step-4: Final Allotment: A final allotment list will be published after the trial allotment process. Aspirants can check their allotment through the website. Once a seat will be allotted to candidates they have to pay the seat acceptance fee to confirm their seats. The allotments will be strictly based on the options exercised, the rank obtained and eligible reservations of the candidate.
Step-5: Seat Acceptance Fee Payment: After seat allotment, candidates have to take the printout of the seat allotment memo and pay the seat acceptance fee. Aspirants can pay the fee at the selected branches of SBI bank or through online mode. If the candidates do not pay the fee in the prescribed time their allotment will be cancelled. The seat acceptance fee will be different for various colleges.
Step-6: Report to the Allotted College: After the fee payment, candidates have to report to the allotted college. Candidates have to bring the required fees and documents to complete the admission process.

Documents Required

Candidates must bring the documents listed below in Original for verification during admission and candidates must submit one Attested copy set of following documents during counselling.

  • KEAM Result 2020
  • KEAM Admit Card 2020
  • Proof of Date of Birth
  • Allotment Memo issued by CEE
  • Fee Receipt issued by Bank
  • 10+2th Standard Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate from last attended institute
  • Conduct Certificate from last attended institutes
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Physical Fitness Certificate

Seat Allotment

  • An online list will be announced where the selected applicants and their allotted institutes will be present on the official website of KEAM.
  • All the applicants who will be allotted the seat will have to pay the tuition fees at the CEE account in the specified branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT).
  • After the payment of the fees, the applicants will have to report at their allotted institute within the specified time along with the original documents of the applicant for verification. The ‘fee’ as prescribed by the University concerned to the course will have to be submitted by the candidate at the time of taking admission in the college.
  • The admission will be confirmed only after all the documents are successfully verified.
