    MAT 2019 Exam Centre: Management Aptitude Test commonly known as MAT is a national-level management entrance examination. Its purpose is to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs. The exam will be scheduled to be held on 21 September 2019 for offline mode while 14 September 2019 for the online mode in various cities across India. Candidates will be allotted test centres for MAT September 2019 exam as per their test mode and the preference they mark in MAT application form.     MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is a national level entrance for admission to MBA and other allied courses in various PGDM institutes of India. It is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association) every year in four cycles-February, May, September and December. The candidates have the provision of appearing in the test in both online and offline mode.

    MAT 2019 Exam Pattern

    The MAT 2019 will be Offline mode & Online mode (pen and paper-based & Computer-based) mode test held in India. The MAT has five sections, each section having forty questions. The total of 200 questions is to be attempted over 150 minutes. The test structure is given below:

    Basic Guidelines

    • Number of Question: Total of 200 questions will be asked in the exam.
    • Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted through Offline mode & Online mode (pen and paper-based & Computer-Based).
    • Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
    • Duration: The exam duration will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
    • Subjects: Questions will be asked from Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Indian and Global Environment
    • Type of Question: There will be objective type questions.

    MAT 2019 Exam Centre

    Instructions for the exam day:

    1. Students need to appear for MAT exam as per the guidelines regarding exam date and time, allotted test centre, MAT admit card etc.
    2. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the scheduled test timings so as to avoid last-minute rush and also time for frisking is required.
    3. They need to carry admit card for MAT examination for the session, as without a valid admit card no candidate will be allowed to take the test.
    4. The entry to the exam centre will begin at least 30 minutes prior to exam timings.
    5. Candidates reaching after 15 minutes once the exam has started will not be permitted to enter the test centre. Also, no extra-time will be provided to candidates reaching late to test centre.
    6. Candidates need to carry Photo ID along, Blue/Black ball pen to the exam centre along with their admit card.
    7. Also, candidates must not carry items that are prohibited in MAT exam centres such as
    • Mobile phones
    • Earphones/hands-free
    • Calculators
    • watches, and any other electronic items.
