    Before we speak the counselling procedure for Maharashtra NEET 2019, Let us first have a look at the Type of NEET Counselling 2019 for state and AIQ quota.

    Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)

    Candidate applying for Medical/Dental Colleges in Maharashtra must have to register themselves for the NEET counselling 2019. Counselling of NEET 2019 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.

    1. Candidate Registration: Register to the official website.

    2. Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal.

    3. Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices.

    4. Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.

    5. New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.

    6. Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.

    7. Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.

    8. Reporting to college (Round 2): Here it is to be noted that, those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.

    1. Is MGIMS Wardha a government or private medical college?

    Ans: Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences is one of its kind institution which is being run by a trust named KASTURBA HEALTH SOCIETY. Also, it is government-aided institute, Central govt give 50% and Maharashtra govt gives 25% of its fund and rest 25% born by KHS itself. The fee structure in MGIMS is same as any govt medical college in Maharashtra. Until last year this institute has been providing pg seats to all of its MBBS pass-outs after 2 years of rural service, posted by Dean MGIMS. But now all it’s pg and ug seats are being filled by Neet state and Central govt quota as applicable.

    Ans: The students who do mbbs from there have to serve in Maharashtra for a period of 7 years.

    Who is eligible to take the NEET-PG?

    Aspirants who have MBBS degree or Provisional Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council and possess permanent/provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the MCI and those who have completed an internship or those who are expecting to complete it by March 31 are eligible to take the examination.

    What is the test format for NEET-PG?

    NEET-PG is conducted as a computer-based test. But it is not internet-based. The student will see questions on the computer screen and will have to answer by selecting the answer from the options given on the screen.

    What is the duration and No. of questions of the test?

    The duration to complete the exam is of 3 hours and will be conducted in a single session. There will be only one section consisting of 240 questions.

        Your daughter must have to qualify NEET exam. The furthur process is given below:
        The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary examination. The student must have obtained 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have qualifying marks in English. For SC, ST or OBC, the minimum marks shall be 40%.

        Crietaria are subjected to change as per the notifications of state/central government or order from supreme/high court.
