The Directorate of Medical Education under the Health & Family Welfare Department, the government of Tripura, released a notice about reading the FAQs and answers carefully before registration.
The Directorate of Medical Education has mentioned five questions. The medical aspirant must go through with the answers before registration to avoid issues while registering in Tripura State NEET-UG 2021 Counselling.
Question.1: Who are eligible to get a seat in the counselling in state quota seats atRIMS(MBBS/BDS/BASLP),AGMC and TMC(MBBS) and other Institution outside Tripura(BHMS/BAMS)?

a. The applicant must be an Indian citizen and permanent residence of Tripura.
b. The applicant’s parents must have resided in Tripura for not less than 10 years
c. The candidate must satisfy one of the five clauses of Tripura state domicile’s eligibility criteria.
d. The applicant should not apply for any other state’s domicile as per NEET brochure or other than Tripura
e. The candidate must have qualified for the NEET examination 2021
The candidate must have the eligibility criteria as per the guidelines.
Who will be eligible for SC/ST category for a domicile/state quota seat?
Candidates having SC/ST CERTIFICATE issued by the Tripura government.
Who will be eligible for the PWD category?
a. Candidates have a certificate of disability from the designated centre as per Annexure-II
b. The degree of disability should be checked as per the information mentioned by the government.
Who is eligible for EWS Quota in 2021-2022 for the domicile/ State quota seat?
A candidate has a certificate that denotes income and assets by the economically weaker section for 2020-2021 and is valid until 2021-2022 signed by the designated authority. The authority will verify the certificate. If any claim regarding the false certificate appeared, then strict action will be taken by the Tripura govt.
Is there any reservation for OBC candidates in Tripura state NEET-UG 2021 Counselling?
There is no reservation in the state quota/domicile seats.
The reservation of OBC is only applicable to All India candidates.
Note: All the Candidates must go through all the questions and answers carefully so that their application process will not get cancelled by the Directorate of Education.
