IISc GATE 2024 Exam Today: The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) will commence the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 exam today. The exam will be held in two sessions- the forenoon and the afternoon session. The forenoon session will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the afternoon session timings are 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Candidates must report to the exam centres with their GATE 2024 admit card and valid ID proof. Students must adhere to the GATE exam centre reporting timing as mentioned on the admit card.

GATE Marking Scheme

The GATE 2024 marking scheme is as follows:

• All questions in the GATE exam will be for either 1 or 2 marks.
• There is no negative marking for MSQ and NAT-type questions.
• For multiple-choice questions (MCQs) incorrect answers to a 1-marker question lead to a deduction of 1/3 marks, while the deduction for a 2-marker question is 2/3.
