NEET (UG/PG) 2024 Counselling: CENTAC Announces Start Dates Aligned with MCC Guidelines

NEET (UG/PG) 2024 Counselling: CENTAC has announced that counselling sessions for UG and PG NEET courses for the academic year 2024-25 will begin according to the schedules set by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), as stated in their recent press release.

With the release of the NEET-UG results by the National Testing Agency (NTA), many students have been eagerly waiting for the counselling dates from the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC). Numerous aspiring candidates have approached CENTAC to inquire about the start dates and tentative schedules for the 2024-25 counselling sessions.

According to the press release, an information bulletin detailing the counselling process will soon be available on the CENTAC website, pending government approval.

Students are also informed that the cut-off marks for UG-NEET courses from the previous academic year (2023-24) can be found in the archives section of the CENTAC website for reference.

CENTAC emphasized its commitment to ensuring a transparent and fair counselling process with minimal human intervention and maximum accessibility through online resources. All relevant information will be posted on the CENTAC portal, so students are encouraged to regularly check the website for updates on the UG & PG NEET counselling schedules and other important developments.

The NTA recently announced that 56.4% of candidates qualified the NEET-UG exam, with 67 candidates achieving top ranks. The top-ranked candidates include 11 from Rajasthan, eight from Tamil Nadu, and seven from Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, the NEET-PG exam will be conducted on June 23, 2024, with results expected by July 15, 2024.
