NIFT 2020 Counselling Procedure
Only those Candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination by clearing the cutoff will be invited for central counselling session based on the score obtained in NIFT 2020. NIFT 2020 counselling process will start between End of May/June 2020. Here given below Selection procedure of NIFT 2020.
- NIFT Delhi will conduct the NIFT 2020 Counselling and Seat allotment process in multiple rounds for providing admissions in all sixteen campuses. The NIFT Delhi institute will be coordinating with all the sixteen colleges for the admission process.
- Aspirants will have to enter their credentials information like Application number, date of birth and password for registration.
- The candidates will have to select a counselling campus according to their preference & choice from where they will be participating in the NIFT counselling process.
- After the registration process, aspirants’ will receive a system-generated a letter, SMS and an email on their registered mobile and email IDs.
- Qualified candidates will have to report at the selected NIFT campus for the document verification process and seat allocation process on the day of NIFT counselling.
- The candidates will be called for the counselling process by their merit rank and availability of seat.
- The Aspirants can select a seat by clicking on the monitor in the presence of the nodal officer.
- After the seat allotment process, the aspirants will have to pay the Total fee at the NIFT campus.
- After that, the candidate will issue an allotment letter/receipt duly signed by the nodal officer of the campus.

Documents Required
- 12th class marks Sheet and Original Certificate
- if a candidate has appeared in the final semester/ final year (as applicable), then he/she will have to bring the original mark sheet of all the previous semester/years.
- In case the candidate has appeared for qualifying exam/compartment (of final year/semester), and the result is due, the date sheet /admit card for examination has to be brought.
- Bank Draft(s) of requisite fee in favour of “NIFT HO” has to be bought. The name of the candidate, date of counselling, phone/ mobile no., Name of the programme, Category, Rank and Roll Number is to be mentioned at the back of Bank Draft(s).
- Proof of date of birth
- SC/ST/OBC – Non-Creamy/PWD (supported with requisite Certificate). For State Domicile seats the status of domicile will be decided by the address of school/college (qualifying degree) last attended, whichever applicable.
- The basis of funding of the tuition fee/certificate of the parents’ income, e.g. Income Tax Return of 2019-20, Salary Certificate of March’2020 etc.
- Certificate of Medical Fitness to be signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format in original.
