National Institute of Fashion Technology popularly known as NIFT is the apex institute for fashion technology in India. The institution was set up in the year 1986 under the guidance of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Now the institution runs under a Statutory Institute Governed by the NIFT Act 2006. The authority will conduct NIFT Entrance exam 2020 Admission test for the admission of students in fashion technology and Bachelor in Design programs offered by the 19 campuses of NIFT spread all across the country. The weightage given to each test in the NIFT Entrance Exam is as follows:

Components of the General Ability Test (for all programmes)
- Quantitative Ability: This sub-test is designed to test the quantitative ability of the candidates. The subject consists
of questions on Addition, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Percentage, Rate of Interest, Work and Task, Ratio and
Proportion, and Distance.
- Communication Ability and English Comprehension: This sub-test is aimed at testing the language ability of the
candidates in day to day communication in English. It includes questions on synonyms, antonyms, words with
corresponding meanings, singular, plural, one-word substitutes, idioms and phrases, correct spellings, comprehend a
situation from a given passage etc.
- Analytical Ability and Logical Ability: This sub-test is designed to test the candidate’s capacity for inference and logic
from the given information and to evaluate the candidate’s ability to identify the given problem and apply reasoning in
solving the core issues of the problem. Concepts and practice of creative and lateral thinking are likely to be useful.
- General Knowledge and Current Affairs: This sub-test is designed to test the candidate’s general knowledge and

A. If you are applying for B.des, then you can crack the NIFT exam without math and science in 11th and 12th grade. B.F.Tech requires maths to pursue but otherwise, maths is not required to apply for the course or even not relevant to the field.

A. No with 10th qualification your not eligible for NIFT Examination. If your to apply for this examination then you should complete 12th standard then only your eligible for NIFT Examination.
