National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has recently announced the NIOS Class 12th result 2020 on 5 August 2020 at the official website https://results.nios.ac.in/. The exam was conducted in the month of April. All the registered students who gave their exam can now check their result by entering their enrollment numbers and other credentials.
Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the result has been declared without conducting theory exams. The marks have been assigned on the basis of the performance of students in theory exams from old sessions, practical exams of this current session and TMA.

How to Check 12th result 2020?
- Click here or visit the official website: results.nios.ac.in.
- Click on the link that says ‘Check result’ and it will lead to NIOS 12th result April 2020 window.
- Enter the student’s enrollment number in the first field and fill the captcha code in the text field.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- NIOS result in 2020 Class 12th will be shown on the screen.
Students are requested to verify all the details given in the mark-sheet. It is a provisional mark sheet and the details mentioned in it will be printed on the original mark-sheet. If there is any type of correction required, the students can contact either the board officials or their respective study centres.
The students who will secure at least 33% aggregate marks in theory and practical for each subject will be able to pass the April exams and all the passed students will be able to get admission into the Senior Secondary course.
Since all the exams could not happen, the result will be declared based on a special assessment scheme. If a student is not satisfied with their assessment, they will be given a chance to appear in the next public or on-demand exam again. This will be accepted as the final exam, however, the final date is yet to be announced. As per the NIOS, these special exams will be conducted only when the situation is stable.
Earlier this year, approximately 1.7 lakh students had appeared for April exams and out of them, only 34.42% of students had passed the exams successfully.
