Attention readers. The much-awaited NIRF 2018 Ranking for Top 50 MBA Colleges in India is out! While Ahmedabad based Indian Institute of Management (IIM-A)has topped the list with CGI Score of 79.18/100, IIM Bangalore has been rated the second best management college in the government’s annual ranking list of top educational institutes. Here it is to be noted that the participation in the NIRF ranking framework was introduced three years ago by the Education Department to outline the best colleges in the country. Earlier the participation in NIRF framework was optional but from this year it becomes mandatory for all public colleges and universities in the country to take part in the NIRF ranking. Almost 4,500 institutes participated in the rankings this year and based upon certain guidelines (fixed by NIRF), the ranking is done.

How NIRF Rank the college?
To outline the Brand value of a specific College in India, the Concept of NIRF Ranking was introduced by the Ministry of Human Resource & Development(MHRD) on 29th September 2015. The main Idea behind the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is to outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country.
