    JEE Main Exam Result 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released JEE Main 2019 paper 1result on April 29 in Evening on NTA’s official website, i.e. @ jeemain.nic.in. As per the JEE Mains prospectus, the official date mentioned is 30th April 2019. However, the result was out on 29th April 2019 in the evening.

    JEE Main 2019 exam

    JEE Main 2019 April exam was conducted throughout the country as well as abroad on April 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 through the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, where 9,58,619 candidates registered for the exam.
    JEE Mains Entrance Examination 2019 was conducted in two phases, i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2, and the total duration of the JEE Mains 2019 exam was 3 hours.

    Apart from JEE Main Paper 1, the JEE Mains 2019 Result for Paper 2 is also expected to be released on next month. The JEE Mains 2019 Paper 2 Result is scheduled to release on 15th May 2019.

    Steps to check JEE Main paper 1 Result 2019

    Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e.jeemain.nic.in.
    Step 2: Login using the application number and password or date of birth.
    Step 3: The Result having Marks obtained overall as well as individual subjects marks will be displayed on the screen.

    JEE Main 2019: Overall merit list

    The four NTA scores for each of the candidates of JEE Main in Paper-1, i.e. January 2019 as well as April 2019 will be merged for the compilation of result and preparation of overall Merit List/Ranking.
    Moreover, the candidates who appeared in both the attempts, then in that case candidates’ best of the two NTA scores (total) will be considered for further processing.

    JEE Main result 2019: Calculation

    As the JEE Main 2019 April Paper 1 was conducted in multi-shifts. So, NTA scores will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks obtained by a candidate.

    What is an NTA score

    • The calculated NTA scores for the Raw Marks for all the shifts/sessions will be merged for further processing.
    • The NTA Score of the Total marks is not an aggregate or average of the NTA Score of an individual subject.
    • NTA score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained in the exam.
