Subjects	Physics, chemistry, biology, and English must be compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam that is the HSC exam.

Qualifying Marks	Applicants who belong to the general category must score not less than 55% marks in the HSC exam in order to get admission. However, reserved category applicants must score a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam in order to get admission.
Work Experience	One must have a minimum one year of work experience in a hospital or in a college or even in a recognized school of nursing or even in a community health program after registration in the State Nursing Council after or prior Sc. Nursing or B.Sc. Hons. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course.
Medical Fitness	Applicants must be medically fit at the time of admission.
