Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)
The Symbiosis University was going to conduct SLAT 2020 on May 25, 2020. However, the entrance test had been postponed to July 19, 2020, due to the spread of COVID-19. SLAT 2020 will be conducted online mode across 80 different cities of India. The SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) or earlier it is called as Symbiosis Law Entrance Test (SET Law) will be administered by the university to offer admissions into the UG law programmes on offer in the university.
The SLAT 2020 is the only entrance exam held to take admissions into the BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes offered in four law schools of Symbiosis University including SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Nagpur and SLS Hyderabad. The official notification of SLAT 2020 has been announced in January 2020, followed by SLAT application form 2020. Admissions to as many as 1080 seats are offered through SLAT 2020.

How to fill the SLAT 2020 Application Form?
Candidates can apply for SLAT the law entrance exam from the following steps:
Step 1: Register for SLAT exam and fill the registration form
Step 2: Enter your details and preferred city. Do upload your scanned colour photo and click on ‘Save and Continue’ to complete registration.
Step 3: You will receive an ID and Password on your registered email id and mobile number. These details are essential to access the application form, admit card and results.
Step 4: After completing the registration go to the application window and fill your name, qualification, choice of program etc. correctly
Step 5: Pay the SLAT application fee under the ‘Make my payment’ tab after selecting the mode of payment.
- Application fee for SLAT admissions is Rs 1,750.
- Along with the registration fee, you will also need to pay the program registration fee for each programme. The registration fee for programs is INR 1000/- (non-refundable and non-transferable)
- Payment through Demand Draft: The candidates can also pay the SLAT application fee using a Demand Draft (DD) of any nationalised bank.
- It should be drawn in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” to be payable at Pune.
- Candidates need to select “DD” as the payment mode in the “Make Payment” tab. The

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must check the eligibility criteria of SLAT 2020 set up the university. Before filling the application form candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria.
- Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
- Candidates must secure at least 45% of marks or equivalent grade for General category.
- ST and SC candidates must secure 40% or equivalent grade.
- Students appearing for their 12th class examination are also eligible, however, they will need to provide proof of qualification at the time of final admission.

- The test contains a total of 90 Questions.
- There is only one correct answer to each question. Click on the most appropriate option to mark it as your answer.

Admit Card
The admit card for the SLAT 2020 will be released online soon. The Admit Card or commonly known as Call Later can be download from the official website. The admit card is the mandatory document to carry during the Exam hall at the time of online examination. If a candidate fails to show His/Her SLAT 2020 Admit Card at the time of the written exam, then he/she shall not be allowed to appear for the test. There are no age criteria to appear in the exam.
