Admission Procedure

Sum Nursing College Bhubaneshwar will accept self-attested xerox copies of document papers submitted by students. If the candidate is unable to submit the requisite documents by the required date, her admission will automatically stand cancelled.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc NursingPass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2018) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC / ST / OBC candidates and must have passed in English. Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2018.
PB B.Sc NursingPassed GNM examination and registered with the concerned State Nursing Council.
M.Sc NursingThe candidates Pass B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/Post Basic) Degree with 55% aggregate from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of one year experience either in teaching or clinical area after registration in respective State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
Entrance TestEntrance Test will be held on as per the venue indicated in the Admission ticket. The Entrance Test will contain objective type (Multiple Choice) items.
Medical FitnessA Candidate must be medically fit the course.

Fees Structure

  1. Fee to be paid for Final Admission
    1. B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/Post Basic) – Rs. 90,000/- = (Rs. 1,20,000 – Rs 30,000 (Paid for Provisional Admission))
      Rs. 1,20,000 = Rs. 1,10,000/- toward annual tuition fee + Rs 5000/- towards Caution Deposit + Rs 5000/- towards Counselling/Admission Fee.
    2. B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic)– Rs. 1,10,000/- = (Rs. 1,40,000 – Rs 30,000 (Paid for Provisional Admission))
      Rs. 1,40,000 = Rs. 1,30,000/- toward annual tuition fee + Rs 5000/- towards Caution Deposit + Rs 5000/- towards Counselling/Admission Fee.
  2. Hostel Fee – Annual Hostel Boarding charges (NON AC)- Rs 53,000/-
    (Rs. 48,000 towards Boarding + Rs. 5000/- Security Deposit)
  3. Annual Mess Charges – Rs 30,000/-

Note: One can make a single Demand Draft or Multiple Demand Drafts for payment in favour of ‘Siksha O Anusandhan University’ payable at Bhubaneswar from any scheduled bank.
