Admission Process

  • Nursing courses admission is purely based on entrance exams held between April-June. Candidates can fill the application form in both online and offline mode.
  • For Online Process: Candidates need to go to the administrator website of the concerned entrance exam and fill the requirements. After that, a print out of the completed form is to be taken out. The print out along with the obligatory documents and DD of the specified amount is needed to be sent to the relevant exam body.
  •  For Offline Process: Candidates need to get the form along with the brochure from the exam conducting body or from the designated centres and can finish the formality.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc Nursing

  • 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks.
  • 10+2 passed out from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
  • The student shall be medically fit.
  • Age: Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

  • GNM Pass and registered as RN, RM with State Nursing Registration Council.
  • Age Limit: Candidate should complete 17 years on 31st Dec of that year & should not be more than 35 years

GNM

  • 10+2 passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with an aggregate of 40% marks.
  • 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational stream only, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board
  • 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
  • Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.

NEET UG

  • The Admission Seeker should have qualified the 12th or equivalent exam.
  • Subjects must be Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject
  • 10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply.
  • In the qualifying exam (PCB group), students should have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC.

Age Limit


Minimum Age – For NEET 2020, the minimum NEET age limit is 17 years as on or before 31st December 2020. Maximum Age – For NEET 2020, there is no maximum age limit thus last year is was scraped. Therefore there is no maximum age limit for NEET 2020 Exam.

  • Apply for Online Registration using your or parents unique Email Id and Mobile No.
  • Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.
  • Upload scanned images of Candidate’s latest Passport size Photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb), Post Card size photograph (4”X 6”) (Size: 50 kb – 300 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb), Left-hand thumb impression (file size: 10 kb-50 kb) in JPG/JPEG format. (In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right-hand thumb impression may be used.), Class X Passing Certificate (file size: 100 kb to 400 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
  • For photography, the focus needs to be on face (80% face coverage, ears clearly visible, on white background).
  • Pay the fee using SBI/Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid safely for future reference. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled, and the amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account. However, the candidate has to make another transaction of fee, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
    ❖ Download, save and print copies of Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee and keep copies safely for future reference.
    ❖ All the 4 Steps can be done together in one go or at different times.

Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)

Candidate applying for Medical/Dental Colleges in India must have to register themselves for the AIQ NEET counselling 2020. Counselling of NEET 2020 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps

  • Candidate Registration: Register to the official website.
  • Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal.
  • Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices.Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
  • New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
  • Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
  • Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
  • Reporting to college (Round 2): Here it is to be noted that, those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.

NOTE:

For those who have appeared for the entrance examinations, Candidates will have to register themselves to participate in the counselling rounds. Registration for the counselling process must be done before the last date. Candidates will be allotted seats in various institutions as per the order of merit, availability of seats and filled choices.

The Merit List will be prepared based on the marks scored in the Entrance Examinations or at the 10+2 level in accordance with their ranks. Candidates will be called for counselling in order of their ranks and seat allotment on the basis of the Merit List.
