The Delhi government implements several Top Scholarship Scheme in Delhi for students domiciled in the state. These scholarships usually include reimbursement of tuition fees, maintenance fees and other important allowances. The main motive behind these scholarships is to provide financial assistance to the students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, BC, EBC, Minority and Disabled welfare communities.

Other Scholarship

The Ladli Yojna scheme focuses on the empowerment of girls and initiates to provide them with financial assistance. All the girls registered under this scheme will be advantaged with educational expenses so that her family becomes able to send her to school. However, the girls who drop out of the school will not be able to get the benefits from this scheme. The Government provides Rs. 1 Lakh to applicant’s family for her marriage. It is one of the Top Scholarship Scheme in Delhi which is provided by the Delhi Government.

Ladli Yojna

EligibilityA. For girl children born on or after 01.01.08
The applicant must be a bonafide resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for at least three years preceding the date of application,
The girl child must have been born in Delhi as shown by the birth certificate issued by Registrar (Births & Deaths),
The annual income of the parents of the child should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/-.
B. For all other girl children in Delhi
Who is currently studying in a Govt./MCD/NDMC or Govt. recognized school in Delhi,
Who were born in Delhi as shown by the birth certificate issued by Registrar (Births & Deaths),
Who has been admitted in Classes I, VI, IX, or XII or passed Class X in the academic year 2008-09 onwards,
Whose parents have been residing in Delhi for at least 3 years prior to the date of application,
Whose parents’ income is less than Rs. 1,00,000/- per annum,
All such girl children shall receive payments of Rs. 5,000/- in the form of long-term fixed deposits.
The above-mentioned deposits shall be encashable only after the child attains 18 years and has at least passed Class X.
