Admission Process

Level Design test of Master’s level like CEED / NID DAT [for M.DES].
The NLDT that provides a valid score will only be considered.
Students with Bachelor’s Degrees in Design or Architecture will be
exempted from University conducted CET and NLDT.

Note: For B. Des, applicants must have passed or will appear for higher secondary 10+2 (stream Science, Arts) from any recognized board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE, or equivalent. Percentage of Aggregate marks with 50% (% will be calculated considering the best five subjects, including science & arts stream subjects with mathematics as compulsory.) Scores of UCEED/ NID will also be considered, as explained above. Admission shall be out of a merit list drawn with weightage 50% from 10+2 and 50% from UCEED/ NID scores.

How to Fill Application Form [CET]

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University only allows an online application form submission mode.

  • First of all, visit the official website of GGSIPU.
  • Fill in all the details in the application form and upload the scanned copies of the required documents as mentioned in the information brochure.
  • Submit the application form, and the registration ID and password will be generated.
  • Pay the application fee of Rs. 1500 before the last date.
  • After submitting the application form and application fee, the admit card will be issued.
  • Counselling will be held, and the seat will be allotted based on marks/rank secured by the students in IPU CET.

Students should carry the following documents for counselling/interview:

  • 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets and certificates
  • Medical, caste, and character certificate
  • Verification form and Preference Sheet
