NTA will conduct UPCET 2022 counselling after the result is published. The dates for UPCET 2022 counselling will be available here once the official body releases them. The UPCET counselling process will have three rounds to be conducted online for all eligible and qualified applicants. After completing each UPCET 2022 counselling round, the seat allotment result will be declared, which can be accessed by the applicants.

Aspirants will be required to register for UP CET Counselling Process. This allocation is for the admissions in almost 800+ AKTU-affiliated institutes for the candidates who will clear UPCET 2022.

Counselling Process

Below we have mentioned the step-by-step procedure of UPCET Counselling 2022. The counselling process is comprised of the following steps:

The UPCET Counselling 2022 is divided into a total of 5 Rounds. Right from registering for counselling to choice filling, everything will be online. So it is a prime concern to have a grip on the entire counselling process. Let us discuss the schedule, eligibility and activities associated with UPTU Counselling 2022.

Below is the given procedure for how to fill the counselling form:-

Step-1 – Registration, Document uploading & Payment of counselling fee:
(a). First, the Candidates will have to register themselves to participate in the counselling of UPCET 2022.
(b). During registration, aspirants must provide their credential information.
(c). After the successful registration, candidates will be required to fill in the required details and pay the admission fees online (credit/debit card or net banking).
(d). After that, your candidates must upload the required documents.

Step-2 – Document verification: Aspirants must upload the scanned images of required documents.

Step-3 – Filling of choices: Aspirants will have to provide their preferred college and courses in order of preference. Candidates can select the college according to their choice and preference.

Step-4 – Seat allotment result: Based on the merit list, choices filled, and available seats, candidates will be allotted seats in B.Tech programmes.

Step-5 – Seat Confirmation or Online willingness by the candidates: Aspirants can select either of three options to confirm seat allotment – Freeze, Float or Withdrawal.

• Freeze: If a student is satisfied with the allotted seat, they can choose the option of Freeze
• Float: If candidates have doubt and also wants to get their seat upgraded in the next round, they can select the option Float
• Withdrawal: Candidates, if not satisfied with the allotted seat and wishes not to participate in the further admission process, can select Withdrawal

Step 6 – Physical Reporting at the college: After the counselling process, the Candidates allotted seats will have to report to the allotted college and all required documents to confirm their seats.

• The entire counselling process is ONLINE.
• From filling up forms to choosing and locking up your preferences, you need to proceed ONLINE.
• However, in the case of reporting, you need to present in person at the allocated institute for verification.
• You can choose as many institutes as you want. But it is essential to lock your choices at the time of registration. In case you don’t lock your preferences, the system will automatically lock your last mentioned preferences. So, it will decrease your chances of securing a seat in the most preferred institutes opted by you. Hence, it is essential to lock your preferences within the time window allocated for the choice filling. The ranking. More significant are the chances of securing admission in the desired counselling round.
• In or Allotment of the seat is done purely based on merit. To participate in counselling, clearing UPCET is a prerequisite.
• Once you reject the seat allotment, you shall not qualify to participate in the further rounds of counselling.
