Vivekananda Nursing College Chitradurga will accept self-attested Xerox copies of document papers submitted by students. If the candidate is unable to submit the requisite documents by the required date, her admission will automatically stand cancelled.

Eligibility Criteria

We have mentioned below all the important information about the eligibility criteria for the reference of the applicants:

GNM	The Candidate should have a minimum educational qualification of PUC/PDC/10+2 or equivalent examination passed. Good conduct and should have sound health and belongs to the age group between 17-35 years. The candidate should be medically and physically fit.
M.Sc Nursing	Passed B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing degree or post certificate B.Sc. Nursing of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS), or any other university accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Minimum of one year of experience after obtaining B.Sc. Nursing (Basic), in a Hospital or in Nursing educational institution or Community Healthcare settings. For the candidate with a post-Basic B.Sc. in Nursing Degree, no such experience is needed after graduation. Registered in State Nursing Council as a registered nurse and registered midwife.
PB B.Sc Nursing	Hold a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery [GNM].  Be a registered nurse. Have passed the pre-university examination in arts/science/commerce conducted by Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Have a working knowledge of English. Be medically fit. Have a good personal and professional record. No candidate who is above 48 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission shall be eligible.
B.Sc Nursing	The Students Should have passed the two years. Pre-University Examinations of Karnataka or equivalent examination as recognized by R.G.U.H.S with science subject Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and English. Should have obtained at least 45% of total marks in physics, chemistry, biology and English subjects of the qualifying examination. If belonging to an SC/ST having obtained 40% of the total marks in science subjects.   The candidate should obtain an eligibility certificate from R.G.U.H..S, Bangalore and migration certificates from the respective board/university(out of state students).
