Postpone NEET PG 2022: Many candidates had urged to postpone the NEET PG 2022 exam date due to the delay in NEET PG 2021 counselling and less gap between entrance exams and counselling. Aspirants also said that conducting the NEET PG 2022 exam on May 21 would make many medical interns ineligible to appear for the exams. But there is no such update regarding the postponement of the exam as per the sources in the ministry. The chorus for cancellation of the upcoming NEET PG 2022 grew louder with the FAIMA and the AIMSA extending support to the postgraduate medical aspirants.

NEET PG Counselling 2021 Reason:

The medical aspirants have time between the NEET PG 2022 exam date and the NEET PG 2021 counselling mop-up round. Therefore, they do not get sufficient time for preparation which results in stress. Candidates who couldn’t get seats in NEET PG 2021 counselling, people who didn’t register for NEET PG 2022 exam, and people who lost seats due to mop-up round counselling cancellation require longer for registration and preparation AIIMSA had distinguished.

86% of Students Want NEET PG Exam to be Postponed:

For the unversed, NEET PG 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on May 21, 2022. Lately, a survey performed by Times Now displayed that 86% of candidates want the exams to be postponed. However, 12 per cent of applicants voted against the postponement, and 2% were unable to decide.
