Odisha NEET Counselling 2021 Registration: OJEE Odisha NEET counselling online registration begins today (12th January 2022) to 18th January 2022, released by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination releases. The candidates who are willing to pursue MBBS & BDS can register themselves to get an opportunity of being a part of the Odisha government /Private colleges. Odisha NEET Counselling 2021 has now started after being delayed before. Initially, it was supposed to commence in November 2021, but it was postponed due to some administrative reasons. The counselling conducting authority in charge has announced the complete schedule and detailed instructions.

The candidates are required to qualify for their NEET exam in 2021; after that, they are eligible for the counselling process with minimum qualified marks. The counselling shall be done with almost 85% of seats in government colleges and for all the seats in the private colleges of Odisha. The Purpose behind the registration process is to create a state merit list of candidates interested in medical education. Moreover, this state merit list will help the candidates to select their preferred colleges.

How to apply for NEET Counselling 2021

  • Go to the official website “ ojee.nic.in”
  • Click on the link of registration in MBBS/BDS
  • Click on the new registration option
  • On-screen you will see the options for filling up your personal details, NEET application number and so on.
  • Fill in all the information correctly.
  • Upload the required documents.
  • Click on the submit button after checking all your details and documents, proceed to the payment option.
  • Once your payment is done, then your registration process will be complete.
  • Download your form.

Note: The application fee is Rs.1000 for each candidate applying for the NEET UG Counselling 2021.

Odisha NEET Counselling 2021: Instruction the Candidate Must Follow

  • In Odisha, there is no OBC category, so such candidates will be considered in General Category, and the minimum qualifying marks shall be (40th percentile) in the NEET UG 2021.
  • The ST/SC candidates must require the caste certificate from Odisha State to get the les percentile marks in the reservation category in Odisha.
  • The Candidates who are getting seats under the SG (State Government Schools) reservation category shall qualify their 10th Board Examination under the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha from Government High Schools and also have passed the 12th Board Examination under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha from any Government Higher Secondary School/Government Junior College.
  • The Candidates claiming under the PC category must undergo a test by Medical Board constituted for the purpose.
  • The Candidates who are permanent natives of the state of Odisha and want to get a reservation under the Ex-Serviceman (ES) category have to submit their relevant documents to Rajya Sainik Board, Bhubaneswar, only within the scheduled date and time.
  • The candidates claiming reservation under Green Card must be permanent natives of Odisha and must produce original green cards of their parents issued by the Government of Odisha only.
  • The Candidates who are eligible to come under EWS categories have to mention the same during registration. Such candidates must produce an EWS Certificate (Income & Asset Certificate) from Tahsildar/ Additional Tahsildar.
  • If adequate candidates are not available in any Reserve category, the vacant seats will be filled up by the UR category.
  • The ST/SC seats cannot be interchanged.
  • The NRI seats shall be filled up in the following order by OJEE / Institution:
  • By eligible NRI candidates of state domicile.
  • By eligible NRI candidates of outside states.
  • By eligible UR candidates of the state if seats still remain unfilled.
