NTA CUET UG 2024 Registration Starts: The Common University Entrance Test registration process for undergraduates (CUET UG 2024) commenced on February 27, initiated by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Prospective candidates can access the CUET application form via the official website, cuetug.ntaonline.in. The NTA has also released the official notice for CUET UG 2024. As per the notification, CUET UG 2024 is scheduled from May 15 to May 31, 2024.
The deadline for CUET UG 2024 registration is March 26, and it is until 11:50 pm. The correction window for CUET UG 2024 will be operational from March 28 to 29. CUET UG 2024 admit cards are anticipated to be issued for the second week of May.
This year, NTA will likely conduct the CUET 2024 exam in a hybrid mode. Aspiring candidates can register for CUET 2024 by completing the online form at cuet.samarth.ac.in. It is advised that students complete their registration before the specified deadline. The CUET exam 2024 is slated to be held on OMR sheets, catering to candidates especially from rural areas.
In a notable change, applicants can now select up to 6 subjects, as opposed to the previous limit of 10, when applying for the CUET UG 2024 application form. They can choose either 4 domain papers, 1 language paper, and 1 general test paper, or 3 domain papers, 2 language papers, and 1 general test paper. Additionally, the CUET 2024 exam is expected to be conducted in a single shift to condense the number of exam days.
NTA plans to administer the CUET 2024 exam in three shifts – morning, afternoon, and evening. The duration of slot 1 is 120 minutes, while slots 2 and 3 will be 90 minutes each. CUET UG exam 2024 will have four sections, each comprising 50 questions.

The CUET 2024 exam will be held to offer admissions for UG programmes in the participating universities across India. Last year, a total of 13.95 lakh students registered for CUET UG. Among them, 6.51 lakh were female candidates and 7.48 lakh were male candidates.
