IPU UG Admission 2024: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has announced an extension of the registration deadline for undergraduate (UG) programs, including BA LLB, until April 10. Prospective candidates interested in admission to IPU UG programs are required to submit their applications for the GGSIPU Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET 2024) via the official website, ipu.ac.in.
Furthermore, the university has decided to consider scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2024) for the current academic year. The deadline for admissions to various programs is set for August 15, with the academic session commencing on April 1.
To complete the application process, applicants must remit the IPU CET registration fee 2024, which amounts to Rs 1,500. Successful candidates in the CET examination will then proceed to participate in the IPU BA LLB counseling, tentatively scheduled for April.
Scheduled between April 27 and May 14, the IPU CET exam 2024 will take place across multiple locations. The university is offering admissions to various programs, including 4-year BA Economics, BEd Special Education, BA BEd Secondary ITEP, BSc Environmental Science, BSc in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, BSc Packaging Technology, and BTech Energy Engineering.
Additionally, the university provides three certificate courses covering urban green space management, Indian heritage and environmental sustainability, biodiversity, applied ecology, and conservation. Weekend certificate and diploma courses in French, Japanese, German, and Urdu are also available.
Subject to the approval of statutory bodies, the university is introducing nine new programs, including BSc BEd, BCom BEd, BA(JMC), 3-year LLB, BPharm, DPharm, BPT, BBA, and BCom.
IP University has achieved a commendable ranking, securing a position among the top 75 universities in the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) issued by the Ministry of Education. Presently, the university offers 166 programs across 18 schools of studies and 3 Centers of Excellence.
