NATA 2024 Exam Tomorrow: Important Topics, Guidelines

NATA 2024 Exam: The Council of Architecture (COA) is set to administer the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2024) tomorrow for students aiming to join BArch programs in approximately 375 higher educational institutions (HEIs). The online exam will take place in two sessions: from 10 am to 1 pm and then from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

The NATA 2024 question paper will consist of two parts:

Drawing and Composition Test (Part A): This section will contain three questions totalling 80 marks. These questions will cover composition and colour, sketching and composition (black and white), and 3D composition.

Part B: Part B will include 30 questions, each carrying two marks, and 15 questions, each worth four marks. This segment aims to evaluate various skills such as visual reasoning, logical derivation, architecture, general design awareness, language interpretation, design sensitivity and thinking, and numerical aptitude.

Exam Day Guidelines

For NATA 2024, students need to arrive at the exam centre one hour before the scheduled start time. Registration will close at 9:45 am for the morning session and 1:15 pm for the afternoon session.

Students must bring their NATA 2024 admit card along with a valid ID such as an Aadhaar card, passport, driver’s license, or voter’s ID. They can also carry basic stationery like pencils, erasers, dry colours, and a scale (up to 15 cm).

However, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, slide rules, log tables, and electronic watches with calculators are strictly prohibited in the examination hall. Possession of any of these items will result in the cancellation of candidature.

Rough work materials will be provided by the exam authority. Candidates should solve questions only on the materials provided at the exam centres.
