NEET UG 2024 City Intimation Slip To Be Out Soon: The exam will be administered offline (with pen and paper) on May 5 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. both nationally and in 14 cities abroad.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is getting ready to share the city information slips for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET UG). If you’ve already registered, you can get these slips from the official website, neet.ntaonline.in, using your application number, date of birth, and password. After that, they’ll also give out the admit cards. These city slips will have your name, date of birth, registration number, and the subjects you’re taking, along with their codes.
NEET UG 2024 will be held on May 5 from 2pm to 5.20pm nationwide and in 14 cities outside the country in offline (pen and paper) mode.
NEET UG 2024: Tie-breaking Criteria
If two students have the same marks in NEET UG 2024, here’s how we’ll decide who ranks higher:
- Biology marks first, then Chemistry, then Physics.
- Fewer incorrect answers.
- Lowest incorrect-to-correct answer ratio in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Older age.
- NEET application number in ascending order.
NEET UG 2024: Candidates appearing in the exam
This year, a record 23,81,833 students have enrolled for NEET UG 2024, including over 10 lakh boys, more than 13 lakh girls, and 24 students under the ‘third gender’ category.
Out of all the students who signed up, over 1 million are from the OBC NCL group, 600,000 are general students, 350,000 are from the Scheduled Caste (SC) group, 180,000 are from the Gen-EWS group, and 150,000 are from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) group.
