JEE Main 2024 Results Declared, 56 Candidates Score 100 Percentile

JEE Main 2024 Results Declared: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released them on Wednesday night. This exam is for students who want to get into engineering colleges. 56 students got a perfect score of 100. Most of them are from Telangana. Two girls, Sanvi Jain from Karnataka and Shayna Sinha from Delhi, also got a perfect score.

The JEE Main 2024 exam happened in two sessions: one in January and one in April. It was a computer-based test.

In the April session, about 10,67,95 students took the exam.

Out of those who got a perfect score, 15 are from Telangana, 7 each from Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, and 6 from Delhi.

The NTA banned 39 students for cheating during the exam, saying they can’t try again for three years.

The exam was held in 13 languages, and there were 571 centers in 319 cities for the April session.

The required score to qualify for JEE Advanced has gone up this year. For general category students, it’s 93.2, up from 90.7 in 2023 and 88.4 in 2022.

The NTA doesn’t tell the exact scores, only percentiles. Percentiles are used to make merit lists instead of raw scores.
