Eligibility Criteria

  • Is an Indian citizen.
  • The eligibility criteria of age for NEET-UG–2021 Uttarakhand State Centralised Counselling will be as per the latest guidelines/ order of NTA (NEET UG-2021 examination conducting body)/Hon’ble courts/ NMC/ DCI/ Government of India.
  • The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled Caste/scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General/EWS candidates. Further, for Persons with a disability the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH & EWS-PH candidates
  • Must have fulfilled all eligibility criteria mentioned in the NEET UG-2021 Information bulletin and qualified NEET UG-2021 examination.
  • Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand and have passed both High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examinations from a recognized educational institution situated in the State of Uttarakhand.
  • Candidates who are not Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed both High school (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examinations from recognized educational institutions situated in the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible but they will not be entitled to any type of reservation.
  • Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed High school (10th) and/or Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from recognized educational institutions situated outside the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible.

Counselling Procedure for Uttarakhand NEET Counselling 2021

  1. All NEET -2021 qualifying applicants who wish to participate in counselling for UG State/All India quota seats must first register. Candidates who did not register for the first round of counselling can participate in the second and mop-up rounds after registering and paying the required cost.
  2. For the round of counselling, only registered candidates will be permitted.
  3. In order to register for counselling, the candidate must provide their NEET 2021 examination roll number, NEET application number, valid mobile number, and other relevant details. The candidate will receive a verification code on their registered mobile phone, which they will use to register in the next steps of the online application process.
  4. Each round of counselling, as shown in the counselling calendar, has a registration option. To be eligible to participate in any round of counselling, candidates must first register/upgrade and fill out their preferences for that round. (Note: In any situation, spot registration will not be held.)
  5. A candidate who has not registered/upgraded for a certain round of counselling will not be considered for seat allocation for that round of counselling.
  6. If a candidate is assigned a seat in the first round but fails to report/join the allottedcollege, he will be entitled to compete in the second round but will not be able to claim his or her allotted seat from the first round.
  7. If a candidate gets admitted to a seat in the second round of counselling and wants to resign/surrender the seat, he or she must apply through the college principal to the Registrar, UAU, Dehradun, and report to the counselling board in person before the Mop-up round registration. He/she will not make a claim on the resigned/surrendered seat.
  8. Candidates who were assigned a seat in round I of counselling can only request a seat upgrade in round II of counselling.
  9. If a candidate has been upgraded in round II, the seat assigned in round I will be instantly cancelled and given to the next qualified applicant in the merit order.Candidates should carefully consider their options.
  10. Candidates must fill out new/fresh options in each round of counselling in order to be considered for a seat in that round.
  11. During the online choice filling process, the candidate can select as many options as he or she wishes. Choices should, however, be made in the order of the candidate’s preference and eligibility.
  12. Candidates are recommended to consider all of their options carefully. If a candidate is not interested in a specific Quota/College/Course, it is recommended that they do not select that Quota/College/Course seat in the option filling procedure because the allotment will not be changed once it has been made. The University/Counseling Board shall not be held liable for any errors made by the candidate.
  13. Regardless of past choices/quotas, candidates must fill out new choices/quotas for each subsequent round of counselling.

Registration fees for Uttrakhand Ayush NEET Counselling 2021

  1. One-time registration for online counselling fee for round 1 and round 2 is Rs. 2,000/- for all categories, although the charge for fresh registration (for new candidates) in Round 2 is Rs. 2000/-. In the Mop-up Round, already registered candidates from Rounds 1& 2 must re-register and pay Rs. 1000/-, while new applicants must pay Rs. 2000/-.
  2. If the application for UAUC-UG-2021-22 is not accepted, the counselling registration money will not be returned or forwarded. Centralized counselling has been rejected, and the candidate has been declared ineligible. As a result, candidates should carefully examine the eligibility criteria before applying. Only those who are eligible for counseling/admission will be considered.
  3. The registration cost, as indicated above, must be paid online using NetBanking, Credit or Debit card exclusively for all rounds of Counseling. There will be no checks or draft accepted.
